OpenTable’s app screenshots required a refresh, both of messaging and creative. The goal was to drive app downloads by educating diners on the value of the app and to generate awareness for key features. These features included: Experiences and Takeout/Delivery, Direct Messaging, Availability Alerts, Discoverability.
My role as the sole lead designer on this project was to align the design with OpenTable’s current the visual system, find solutions to showcase the app’s unique features and create visual engagement.
These updated screenshots were A/B tested alongside the previous version, and had a +30% improvement over the control.
